The Pennsylvania Department of Health School Immunization program changes are in place for the 2019-2020 school year. School districts have been encouraged to notify parents of the new requirements. The requirements are as follows:

All grades K-12 need the following:

  • 4 doses of tetanus
  • 4 doses of diphtheria
  • 3 doses of polio
  • 2 doses of measles
  • 2 doses of mumps
  • 1 dose of rubella
  • 3 doses of hepatitis B
  • 2 doses of varicella

7th grade additional requirements: If 5 years have elapsed since last tetanus containing vaccine
